Wonderful wheels and paint. Hard to know how extensive the modifications are but it does have front disc brakes. The first year of the third generation T-bird, the 1961 was powered by a 390 cu. in V8 and was the pace car for the Indianapolis 500.
Mark sent these interesting pics. I posted this same van behind a business in East Austin about two years ago. Powered by the F-134 Hurricane engine, giving about 75 hp, and also used in a bunch of Jeep models. Right hand drive for mail delivery. Specs for van here.
The “Loyal Austin DIY Shop” is near IH-35 and TX-45. A wide range of interesting car owners take advantage of the lifts and tools there to repair and modify their rides. One great service is the mobile dyno every 3rd Saturday afternoon, $65 for two “pulls.” Thanks, Mark.
Dodge made the A100 from 1964 to 1970, on a 90″ wheelbase. Powered by the famous Slat-6 engine, this van was just acquired to help promote Luis’ next business. Check out the lovely small bumpers. Good luck, Luis.
