The Silver Shadow was Rolls-Royce’s first monocoque chassis, made from 1965 to 1980, with a 6.2 liter or a 6.7 liter V8. It got its transmission from General Motors (Turbo Hydramatic 400), and it’s high-pressure hydraulic self-leveling suspension from Citroën (for front and back suspensions until 1969).

For sale at BZ Motors in Lakeway for $30,999, has undergone a nuts and bolts restoration. With its 1991 cc, straight-4, overhead valve engine, it could approach 110 mph, using its front disc brakes to scrub off some of that speed. Durable and fun and very popular in its day.

After showing a house for sale, I spotted this handsome 69 Mustang. This is Donnie’s picture. The car has a hot 302 with roller cam and lots more including a 5 speed manual. Sounds really tough. Donnie also has a project car in the garage with an almost 1000 hp Ford engine which I will post later.
