WAAAM, or the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum, is in Hood River, Oregon, featuring a lot of airplanes that run and fly, and a lot of very excellent cars, too. Strangely, I really liked the small motor displays. Here are a few.

Last summer was a Road Trip. I swerved off the Oregon highway at the sign promising a car and plane museum at the next exit. A few miles off the highway I found a great museum. WAAAM, or the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum, is in Hood River, Oregon. Has only airplanes that run and fly, and a lot of them, and a lot of very excellent cars, too. I guess when it’s a 1969 Camaro RestoMod with an aluminum small block LS7 427, out of the crate making 505 hp, like this tricked out SS for sale at Gateway Classic Car in Dallas. It is my favorite year but I was taken aback at this price.
