A Czechoslovakian motorcycle and auto manufacturer, JAWA was created in 1929. At their peak in the 1950s, they exported motorcycles to some 120 nations. The Jawa Californian two-stroke engines were reliable but not very powerful.

It’s powerful SOHC alloy engine was inspired by the German NSU motorcycle. In turn, Laverda based larger engines on this engine. It could reach almost 10o mph, using stamped steel frames, front forks and mufflers.
Caught this interesting Benelli at Horsepower Farms which has since moved or evaporated.
A runabout at the recent Circuit if the Americas races. I think it’s a mid-to-late 60s 175cc trail bike, OHV four stroke.
Appears to be a Honda four cylinder, perhaps a 500cc? The Limey has decades of experience repairing and building pre-1980 Japanese bikes, link at right.
This shop has a real depth of motorcycle repair and build experience. I’m guessing this is a 1960s Triumph 650. Link at right.
