Written by Ken Altes

Spotted this rare car on my way to Manor, the Avanti IIs were built by ex-Studebaker dealers after Studebaker’s demise. Has a Chevy 350 cu. in. V8 and ran several months ago.  Owner wants about $9000.  The last photo is a four door Avanti built in 1991, found on the internet.
