1951 Studebaker Land Cruiser in Central East Austin
The Land Cruiser was the top of the line, sporting a new, modern, 232 cu. in. OHV V-8 with 120 horsepower turning a new three speed Automatic Drive transmission. They sold well at $2289.
1979 Avanti II for Sale in East Austin
Spotted this rare car on my way to Manor, the Avanti IIs were built by ex-Studebaker dealers after Studebaker’s demise. Has a Chevy 350 cu. in. V8 and ran several months ago. Owner wants about $9000.

1958 Studebaker Silver Hawk in East Austin
One of many variations on one of the sweetest body designs ever, the 1953 Starliner/Starlight designed by Robert E. Bourke at the Raymond Loewy studios, nicknamed the Loewy coupes. For the Hawk series, 1956 to 1964,
