Packard was the last manufacturer to have a modern, high compression V8, not coming until 1955. This car had a version of their prewar side valve flathead straight eight. It was, however, extremely reliable, smooth and quiet.
Owned by a noted local collector, this garage has several interesting cars including this fine Packard convertible.
