Off E. St. Elmo, this Jeep Commando was built in 1972 or 1973. Called Jeepster until Kaiser Jeep was bought by American Motors in 1970, and given a facelift in 1972. Four wheel drive and about 150 hp from a 304 cu. in. V8.
Love any rugged 4×4 with diesel power. Add air conditioning and that’s pretty hard to beat. The green Land Rover is a 1963 Land Rover Santana Series 2A, made in Spain for export to Central and South America. See link at right for Motoreum.
At used car lot on Hwy 290 past Oak Hill. 90 refers to its wheelbase.
