One of my favorite cars in Austin, I’ve posted other pics of this car. Caught it the night before the Lonestar Round Up at Custom Car Crafters (link at right). Darren Wenzel paints cars and motorcycles brilliantly under Gasoline Art cover.
Not smoking at the Lounge, this 1959 Eldorado Biarritz convertible is hanging out with Cobras, Ferraris and about 50 more collector cars, cost $7401 new and only 1320 were produced. Long 130″ wheelbase, 390 cu. in. 345 hp. three two-barrel carbs, four speed Hydra-Matic Drive, and a rear air suspension. Resting comfortably and ready to rumble at the Petrol Lounge in N. Austin.
