An earlier post had pictures at Mercury Charlie’s old location. I was asked to take a few more for a prospective buyer who had found the car on this blog. These rare cars were used at national parks like Yellowstone.

German Band’s Transcontinental Adventure – in a Caddy, Of Course

Michael J. Bernal, Christopher Crepps, Don Pawlak and Dale Watson signed the hood to wish this German band the best of luck on their cross-country adventure in their 1961 Cadillac Sedan deVille.  The Caddy had a vibration that S. 1st Performance (link at right) was tasked to remedy so the music could continue. Viel Glück, Jungs.

Cadillac Allante in Central Austin

Cadillac Allantes were made from 1986 to 1993. Bodies made in Italy by Pininfarina were shipped in Boeing 747s, 56 at a time, to Detroit for final assembly. Uses a small Caddy V8 ranging from 250 to 281 cu. in., pulling the car with FWD.
