1956 Ford Victoria I spotted at a used car lot in Cleburne, Texas. Sadly, the dealership has closed. Note that the upscale Crown Victoria had the “basket handle” stainless trim running over the roof. I got a few really good pictures there, and one reader told me that the owner also operated a funeral parlor. Begs the question, how did these cars get to the car lot?
I stopped to take a few pics of this very fine 1955 Buick Riviera Super Coupe in Monterey, California, during Monterey Car Week, during which several other shows and auctions occur, including Pebble Beach. It was a great several days!
Pretty 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air “Sport Coupe” in Buda, Texas, at one of my favorite hot rod fab shops, Murphos
.
Love this dolled-up 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria with lake pipes, fender skirts, (Cadillac?) wheel covers, visor, and bumper guard. Am I missing something?
I snapped this pic on S. Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas, during the Lonestar Round Up car show weekend when the scene on the Avenue Friday and Saturday nights is epic.
