Subaru’s first mass-produced car, produced from 1958 to 1971. Its 356 cc two-stroke, two cylinder, inline engine pushed this sub-1000 lb. car to 60 MPH (top speed) in about 37 seconds (at least the first examples).

Sounds cute, but probably dangerous for the other traffic. I’ve heard stories of Trabants hitting the European highways after the Berlin wall came down. And then doing the legal minimum speed of 4omph on a 60 or 70mph highway….
