Found this rare GMC pickup in central South Austin. I thought, as many have, that this grille was a makeshift or a homemade grille, but there may be less than 100 of these production models surviving even though many were built. This 1958/9 GMC Fleet Option 100 Model was designed for institutional users, a stripped-down truck inexpensive to buy and to maintain. A little more info here.
Just wanted to let you guys know I have one in California yes they are very very rare I have been contemplating on selling it but every time I do think about it I back out because I know sooner or later these trucks are going to be a diamond Mine is still the original green yes it’s all banged up but I love it it’s my farm truck
