Missing its fender skirts, it’s one of my favorite Jags. The Mk2 Sedan was built from 1959 to 1967, powered by their classic DOHC straight six, from 2.4 to 3.8 liter, similar to this XK-120
This Sunbeam Tiger was offered for sale at BZ Motors, linked at right. These have small block Ford V8s, either 260 or 289 cu. in., created with help from Carroll Shelby for the British Rootes Group Apline roadster. The
Heavy and softly-sprung, this was not a sports car. This standard 390 cu. in. V8 makes 315 hp but takes 11 seconds to reach 60 mph.
