Heavy and softly-sprung, this was not a sports car. This standard 390 cu. in. V8 makes 315 hp but takes 11 seconds to reach 60 mph.

Powered by a 305 cu. in. V6 known for durability, low speed torque but poor mileage. 1965 was the first year that four wheel drive was supplied from the factory.
