Two sparkling Studebakers at the Long Center at Lady Bird Lake, a 1952 Studebaker Commander Coupe and a 1951 Studebaker Business Coupe. This dazzling Motostalgia auction was presented by Motoreum, linked at right.
The Land Cruiser was the top of the line, sporting a new, modern, 232 cu. in. OHV V-8 with 120 horsepower turning a new three speed Automatic Drive transmission. They sold well at $2289.
Wayne Graefen, a friend and subscriber, corrected my identification. I labelled it a Ford. Thanks Wayne. He adds that it has a 1954 Chevy grill.
