1955? by 1960 this was probably considered the height of squareness. But now it’s cool again…..
To me, this is Chevy’s best post war design. Perhaps not coincidentally, my Mom’s first car was a 55 Chevy convertible, white on blue/green, with a six cylinder and three speed stick shift. She replaced it with a red 60 Chevy convertible but always felt the first car was the better one, especially noting better traction.
