Mysterious “Miller” 1932 Ford Vintage Hot Rod at Dave’s Perfection Automotive in S. Austin
This car has “Miller” logos on the engine and both sides of the hood. Harry Miller was the greatest race car builder in American history, winning 17 of 20 Indy 500’s before WWII, and did modify some Ford Flathead V8s for the 1935 Indianpolis, but I cannot find any more info. The red logo pictured here is the Miller race car logo. This car seems to have some pretty rare vintage performance parts. Note the tall dual carb intake manifold. I will look into this further, but if anyone has more info, please send it along – I’ll post any new info. Don’t miss this year’s Lonestar Round Up.
this 32 showed up at a few nostalgic drags at little river tx. heard that the guy had to sell it because of some unforeseen cash obligations and is keeping the location secret inorder to buy it back. the car is as fine as the owners unfriendly attitude when talking about it. whoever he is, he has a very thick English or irish accent. the car is well put together and I hope to see it again someday not necessarly with the original owner.
