1963 Oldsmobile F-85 Convertible on Hwy 620
GM, starting a decade of technical innovation, built its all aluminum 215 cu. in. V8 from 1960 to 1963, standard on the Olds F-85. Very light at 318 lbs, it made up to 200 hp. This engine’s tooling and rights were then sold to MG Rover who reworked it and reintroduced in Rover, Morgan Plus 8, Land Rover Range Rover, MGB GT V8, Triumph TR8, and TVR. This car could have a Roto Hydramatic automatic transmission.
