No doubt, South Congress Ave is the center of Austin’s car culture and where I find so many wonderful cars. This 1959 Chevy Impala has dual exhaust pipes so, if original, it has either the 283 cu. in. V8, or the 348 cu. in. V8 (related to the 409, made famous by the Beach Boys’ song ‘409′, and the first gen 427).
