This snazzy 1958 DeSoto Firesweep has a 350 cu.in. V8, with polyspherical heads spinning out 280 hp.  It looks like push-buttons for the transmission, left of the steering wheel.

  1. For clarity, NOT a GM 350 cubic inch V8 but the Dodge /DeSoto 350 V8 of this era !

  2. Good point, Wayne, since “350” is often seen as synonymous with Chevy/GM small block. This car appeared completely stock.

  3. sorry guys the 350 did not have polyspherical heads . The 350 was a wedge head along with the 361, 383 and 413
